INTERVIEW: No Miracles Needed: Mark Jacobson on how we have all the tech we need to transition to 100% renewable NOW

This week, Josh interviews Mark Z. Jacobson, a professor of civil and environmental engineering and Director of the Atmosphere/Energy Program at Stanford University. He has published six books and over 175 peer-reviewed papers. His work forms the scientific basis of the Green New Deal and many laws and commitments for cities, states, and countries to transition to 100% renewable electricity and heat generation.

Josh and Mark have known each other for over 12 years, working together on the creation of the first renewable energy plan for New York State and later founding The Solutions Project together.

Josh and Mark also discuss his newest book, No Miracles Needed: How Today's Technology Can Save Our Climate and Clean Our Air. In this book, Mark Z. Jacobson lays out his plan to get to 100% renewable energy with our existing technologies and why we don't need experimental or risky energy sources to save our planet.
