70% of the world’s species have died in my lifetime

70% of the world’s species have died in my lifetime

The crisis of our natural world must be addressed.

The trauma of the land is linked to the trauma of history.

The Edge of Nature grapples with the idea of survival, the value of human life and the profound internal legacy of identity.

We are all deeply affected by the worsening climate crisis, we are all affected by the legacy of genocide. The only thing that can heal us now as a species is reckoning with the truth and restoring the land. Recognizing that we are not separate from it, that we are not separate from each other - that we are a part of it - and it is our duty to protect it.

This film is our rallying cry to do so. We must act now.
